Convert peptide mass to syringe markings
Enter a known vial amount, diluent volume, and target dose. Results update instantly.
How many U-100 units are in one milliliter?
A U-100 scale represents 100 volume markings per mL. That means 0.01 mL corresponds to 1 marking, 0.1 mL corresponds to 10 markings, and 0.5 mL corresponds to 50 markings.
| Liquid volume | U-100 scale | Microliters |
|---|---|---|
| 0.01 mL | 1 unit | 10 µL |
| 0.05 mL | 5 units | 50 µL |
| 0.10 mL | 10 units | 100 µL |
| 0.50 mL | 50 units | 500 µL |
Why the exact value and nearest marking are different
A calculation may produce 5.5 U-100 markings while a selected syringe only shows whole-unit lines. The exact mathematical result remains 5.5. The nearest line is displayed only to explain the physical scale limitation; it is not a recommendation to round or use that value.
When the calculator displays a warning
- The target amount is greater than the total vial mass entered.
- The calculated liquid volume exceeds the selected syringe capacity.
- The exact U-100 result does not align with the selected smallest marking.
